Privacy Policy

SecondClick does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. File processing happens on your Mac.
Information we collect
None. SecondClick has no account system, analytics, advertising SDK, tracking technology, or developer-operated server. The app does not upload your files, paths, clipboard contents, settings, or usage activity.
Files and folders
macOS asks you to choose the folders where the Finder extension may work. SecondClick accesses an item only when you invoke a related command. Copy, conversion, OCR, PDF, image, hash, and file-management actions run locally. Generated files are saved beside the source unless the command asks you to choose another destination.
Settings
Menu preferences and security-scoped folder permissions are stored locally using the macOS Keychain and App Group container shared by the main app and its Finder extension. They are not synchronized to us.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. SecondClick checks Apple-signed transaction status to unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your card number, Apple Account password, billing address, or payment details. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Third-party code
SecondClick bundles the open-source libwebp codec for local WebP conversion. It does not provide analytics, tracking, advertising, or network services. Its license is included inside the app.
Data retention and deletion
Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to request from or delete on our servers. You can remove local settings by deleting the app and its saved Keychain item. Files created by SecondClick remain where you saved them until you delete them.
Children's privacy
SecondClick does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.
Changes
If the app's data practices change, this page and the App Store privacy details will be updated before the change is released. The effective date above identifies the current version.
